REASI, Dec 9: Team Pulwama registered a commanding 8–0 victory over Srinagar in the U-14 Inter-District UT Level Boys Softball Tournament organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sports Complex, Reasi, as per handout issued.
Principal HSS Katra, Geeta Choudhary, presented the winners’ trophy to Pulwama players, highlighting the role of sports in fostering discipline, confidence, leadership and overall development among youth. District Officer YSS Reasi, Tersem Singh, appreciated the field and technical staff for ensuring smooth conduct of the tournament and encouraged promotion of sports culture in the district.
Notable participants included Opinderpal Singh, Madan, Rakesh Singh, Dheeraj Singh, Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Mohit Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Vikas Singh, Asheesh Kumar, Sahil Sharma, Ankush Sharma, Rohan Sharma, Mohd Raqeeb and Mohd Arif. Other attendees were Devinder Kour, Saroj Bala, Vikas Verma, Jaswant Singh, Mohd Raiz, Ankush Sharma, Sahil Sharma and Ajay Kumar.
