JAMMU, May 30: The M. Jackson Cultural Institute of Society organized an inter-school competition titled “Ubharte Kalakaar” at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu, featuring dance, singing and fancy dress performances. Over 150 students participated across sub-junior, junior, sub-senior, and senior categories.
Harvinder Kour, Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, was the chief guest, while Sohail Kazmi, B S Bawa and Naseeb Singh Manhas were guests of honour. The event was judged by Romesh Parwana and Poonam Rani and anchored by Rohit Bains and Pooja Loach.
Organizer J R Sharma Jackson felicitated artists Sanjeev Gupta, Deepak Kumar and Usha Slathia, along with participating school principals. The chief guest lauded the team’s efforts in promoting Dogra culture.
