JAMMU, Feb 22: Jesus Care Convent School here today organised its annual prize distribution ceremony.
The event was graced by Devyani Rana, senior BJP leader as chief guest, Sunita Bangotra as guest of honour and the event was presided over by Renu Anthony, Principal of the School.
The ceremony commenced with a prayer followed by the welcome address by Marina Marvin.
It included an engaging cultural programme where students from pre-primary wing and primary wing showcased their talent.
This year the event was celebrated around the theme of ‘Highlighting the Importance of Lost Moral Values, Culture and Role of Parents’.
Meritorious students were awarded for their achievements in academics and co-curricular activities.
Prizes were given away by the chief guest and guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion Devyani Rana lauded the role of Jesus Care Convent School in providing value based quality education.
The event concluded with vote of thanks by Renu Anthony, Principal.
Prominent among those who graced the occasion were Rakesh Gupta, Marvin and Joginder Angotra.
