JAMMU, Dec 15: The U-12 Boys and Girls Lawn Tennis Championship, organized by the J&K Lawn Tennis Association (JKLTA), concluded at the MA Stadium Tennis Courts, here today.
Ashok Kumar, Senior Vice President, JKLTA, was the chief guest, distributed trophies and medals to the winners. The tournament’s standout performer was Prithvi Sharma, who clinched a double title. He defeated Piyush Kumar by 7-3 in the Boys’ singles final and later partnered with him to beat Khushaansh Magotra and Ayank Jaiswal by 9-7 in the doubles final.
In the Girls’ Singles, Sarah Mahajan overcame Nikandani Vaid by 6-4 to claim the championship. During the occasion JKLTA President Murti Gupta, Senior Vice President Ashok Kumar and Honorary General Secretary BS Jaggi were also present on the occasion.
