JAMMU, Nov 13: The spirit of joy and sportsmanship filled the air as Presentation Convent Sr. Sec. School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, celebrated its UKG Annual Sports Day 2025-26 with great enthusiasm. The event, themed “Udayan – A Dazzling Dawn of Sports,” symbolized new beginnings, strength and the radiant energy of young learners.
The celebration began with a March Past led by the tiny tots carrying the lantern-the insignia of the Presentation Congregation-followed by an oath-taking ceremony and lighting of the lantern, marking the formal opening of the sports meet. The young athletes participated in a series of engaging activities, including Pom-Pom Drill, Zumba, Yoga, Dumbbell Drill and races such as Frog Race, Penguin Race, Socks Pairing and Obstacle Race.
Principal Amelina Rodrigues praised the children’s enthusiasm and teamwork. The grand finale, “The Power of She,” paid tribute to India’s sportswomen, celebrating courage and confidence.
