JAMMU, Dec 20: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar inaugurated Prahari Golf Tournament, organised by Border Security Forces at BSF Golf Course Paloura Camp, here today.
About 69 golfers participated in this tournament.
The opening ceremony was organised at the BSF Golf Course Paloura which was attended by NS Jamwal, IG BSF Jammu along with other senior officers and civil dignitaries. A total of 22 prizes were distributed, in which best gross winner was won by Sanjay Wahi and runner-up title was won by Dinesh Chopra.
Net winner of the tournament was Dr Anil Salathia while Net runner-up was NS Jamwal IG BSF Jammu, whereas ‘Hole in One’ prize was won by NS Jamwal, Rohit Bhalla, Raghav Wahi, Retd Colonel Ramesh Chandra and VK Zadoo.
Best senior citizen gross winner went to VK Zadoo and runner-up title went to TK Razdan, whereas Longest Drive prize was won by Bhishm Batra and Straight Drive prize was clinched by Retd Colonel John George and the Nearest prize was bagged by Anil Mahajan. The Best Lady golfer award was won by Rajni Jamwal, Mrs Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar and Paramjeet Kaur Sandhu.
