PPCPL team owners get players in presence of IGP Jammu; fixture released

JAMMU, Aug 20: The team owners of Police Public Cricket Premier League (PPCPL) composed their teams in the presence of Dr SD Singh Jamwal, IGP Jammu, the Chairman of Organizing Committee at Police Auditorium, here today.
8 international players drawn from Zimbabwe, Bangladesh and Nepal, besides 8 players from Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Punjab and 72 players of J&K sealed their berths in the forthcoming cricketing extravaganza.
The mega event is being organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu in collaboration with KC Sports Club & Vishal Cricket Club Jammu from August 25 to September 1, 2018 at KC Sports Club Jammu.
40 reputed junior players were already retained by the franchisee owners of the League.
Dr SD Singh Jamwal was the chief guest on the occasion, while Ramesh Mahajan, former chairman JKCA and owner of KC Royals and Rajesh Sharma, SO to IGP Jammu were the guests of honour.
The selected players were distributed to the participating teams through draws in presence of owners and mentors including Ramesh Mahajan, Owner and Ankush Abrol, Mentor of KC Royals, Mohit Puri and Shashi mentors of Simula Strikers, Atul Abrol & Gurminder Singh owners of  Wheelocity Vishal Bulls, Sanjeev Mahajan & Crazy Films owner of Elite Tigers, Ashish Singh,  owner of Horizon Kings, Robin Singh owner of Count & Fitness Hurricanes, Tajinder Singh owner of Vriddhi Royals and Arvind Koul owner of MS stars.
The chief guest IGP Jammu while speaking on the occasion said that the objective for conducting this PPCPL for the budding cricketers is to provide professional platform to them by honing their skills with International players.
Earlier brief note of the league was presented by Rajesh Gill, Former Ranji Trophy Player and Organising Secretary of the League, while the proceedings of the event were conducted by famous cricket commentator and anchor Rajesh Dhar and Angelina.
Simula Strikers includes Musaif Ajaz, Rohan Gill, Snoop Bhagat, Smarpit Raina, Jasbir Singh (retained players), Shivansh Sharma, Atul Saini, Ashfaq Mohd., Shagun Bagotra, Sujal Sharma, Sujal Kumar, Suraj Kumar, Yougan Dhar, Chaitneya, Amar Singh (Lucknow) and Hathrik (Delhi).
KC Royals includes Dikshant Kundal, Abay Tondon, Akshit Gandral, Nityam Abrol, Aqib (retained players),  Madhav Kapoor, Kapil, Saksham Thakayal, Kunal Singh, Archit Mahajan, Ridwan Mahajan, Gurpreet Singh, Vansh Sharma, Bhuvnesh Bardwaj, Amol Soni Verma (Zimbabwe) and one player from Nepal.
