JAMMU, Nov 28: The Red Ribbon Club of Government MAM College organised a Poster Making Competition on HIV/AIDS awareness under the supervision of Rajesh Sharma, Assistant Director Youth Affairs, J&K AIDS Control and Prevention Society and Dr Sangeeta Sudan, Nodal Officer, Red-Ribbon Club of Government MAM College Jammu.
More than 30 students participated in the competition with great zeal and enthusiasm and expressed their thoughts on different aspects of HIV/AIDS through their posters. The Principal, Dr Anita Sudan graced the occasion as Chief Guest and appriciated the participants as well as the Red-Ribbon Club and J&K AIDS Prevention and Control Society for organising such programs for senstization of adolescent minds. Prof R K Koul, Prof Savita Jamwal and Dr M Mazzammal Hussain were the jury members.
Mohd Fayaz, BSc P-Ist student got Ist Prize, Jasvir Singh BA P-III student got second prize whereas Sidharth Saini BSc Part-II and Pratyakah Khajuria BSc Part-III got 3rd Prize.
Others present on the occasion were Prof Ashok Kumar, Prof Sudesh Kumar, Prof Roshan Lal and Dr I A Khan.
