Police outplays Media in friendly match

POONCH, Mar 22: Police XI outplayed Media XI Poonch by 39 runs in a friendly match, organised by Poonch Police at Degree College ground, here today.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Poonch Police scored a fighting total of 139 runs in the stipulated 15 overs. Mukrarab Shah top scored with 55 runs off 32 balls. For Media XI, Prince and Paino took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Media XI bundled out for 100 runs, to lose the match by 39 runs. Piano scored 40 runs, while Aman contributed 32.
Mukrarab made a hat-trick to scalp 5 important wickets, fetching him a man of the match award.
SSP Poonch, Jatinder Singh Johar, DySP DAR, Rafiq Ahmed , SHO Poonch, Rakesh Akram were prominent among others present on the occasion.
