Police Martyrs Memorial Cricket Tourney concludes

RAJOURI, Oct 28: Police Martyrs Memorial Cricket Tournament, organised by District police in the memory of police martyrs, concluded at District Police Line Ground, here today.
The final match of the tournament was played between the Danyal Cricket Club (DCC) and Moon Star Cricket Club (MCC).  The winner and runner-up teams were awarded by the chief guest, Additional SP Vivek Shekhar Sharma in presence of DySP Headquarter, Vinod Sharma, DySP DAR Zaheer Abbas and others.
While speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said that the aim of the tournament was to remember the supreme sacrifices of the police martyrs who laid down their lives for the motherland and protect the nation. “Such tournaments play an important role in harnessing the talent by providing a suitable platform to talented players,” he said.
