RAJOURI, Mar 16: District Police Rajouri organized a Volleyball Tournament at Manjakote under the Civic Action Programme today, aiming to promote sports among youth and strengthen community-police relations. Six teams from different areas participated with enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
The final match was contested between Galhutti Volleyball Club and Saroola Volleyball Club, with Galhutti emerging victorious after displaying exceptional teamwork and performance.
The event was graced by SDPO Manjakote Shahid Nahiem and Naib Tehsildar Manjakote as chief guests. SHO Manjakote, Inspector Imran Khan, along with other officials, were present, while local residents turned out in large numbers to support the participants.
SDPO Shahid Nahiem highlighted the importance of sports in shaping a healthy and responsible society and urged youth to join hands with the police in building a drug-free community. Naib Tehsildar Manjakote appreciated the initiative. The tournament concluded with prize distribution for winners and runners-up, earning appreciation from participants and locals for District Police Rajouri’s efforts.
