JKCA U-19 Men’s Multi-Day tournament

JAMMU, July 13: The points were shared between the teams as both the matches at SK Stadium Ground-A and Ground-B ended in a draw in the ongoing Under-19 Men’s Multi-Day Cricket Tournament, being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) at four different venues across the Union Territory.
At SK Stadium Srinagar-A, in reply to JKCA B2’s 343 runs in their first innings, JKCA B4 were 216/7 at the draw of stumps today, thus the match ended in a draw and both the teams were awarded one point each. Moomin Muzzaffar top scored with 63 runs, while Adnan Tak and Zaid Wani contributed 46 and 29 runs respectively.
For JKCA B2, Janib Javed took 3 wickets, while Yasir Rashid bagged 2 wickets and Saqib Lateef claimed one.
At SK Stadium Srinagar-B, JKCA B3 were 252/5 in 65 overs in their first innings, in reply to JKCA B1’s big total of 348 runs in 89.5 overs. Basit Nazir top scored with a brilliant century (107), while Bilal Bhat contributed valuable 65 runs and Musharaf Hussain made 27 runs. For JKCA B1, Rahat Salam took 2 wickets, while Oman Fayaz and Taufeeq Ahmed claimed one wicket each.
The matches were officiated by Irfan Ashraf, Faizan Fayaz, Hilal Mir and Anees Ahmed as umpires, while Amjid and Hilal Ahanger were the scorers.
