Players’auction held for CCL

Srinagar, June 21: The auction of players for the upcoming Chandpora Cricket League was held here in Lala Rukh Hotel Srinagar on Wednesday.
The upcoming event will feature 20 franchisee teams which would start from next week at Chandpora, Harwan ground.
For the auction around 600 players were listed with each franchisee picking 16 players.
According to organizers, each franchisee was given a team budget of Rs 10,000 and a limit of buying only four players in the category of Rs 1500.
“The lowest bid was Rs 200 while highest bid was Rs 1500. Each franchisee was allowed to pick only four players in the bracket of Rs 1500. The team was allowed to spend maximum of only Rs 10,000 during auction,”
