JAMMU, Oct 13: The Department of Youth Services & Sports, Zone Jourian, inaugurated a two-day Inter-School Zonal Level Athletic Meet for AAG (All Age Groups) Boys & Girls in U/14, U/17, and U/19 categories at Ghari Ground, Jourian.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 250 student-athletes representing various government and private schools of the zone. I/C ZPEO Jourian, Umakant, formally inaugurated the meet and urged students to embrace sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.
Dr. Ashwani Bali, Activity Incharge, Zone Jourian, applauded the players for their discipline and sports spirit. He thanked the entire field staff and convenors for ensuring the smooth conduct of the event. The Athletic Meet will conclude on October 14 with girls’ events, final races and a prize distribution ceremony.
