JAMMU, June 23: Pegasus Sports Academy marked AIFF Grassroots Day with a vibrant celebration at Seven Fields Turf, Jammu, bringing together more than 50 young footballers aged between 4 and 13 years.
The event was filled with enthusiasm and excitement as children took part in age-appropriate football drills, fun games and mini matches, all aimed at introducing them to the sport in a fun and structured manner. The activities focused on building foundational skills, promoting teamwork, and boosting confidence among young participants.
Bhisham Batra, Founder of Pegasus Sports Academy, expressed pride in the academy’s grassroots efforts, stating: “We are happy to grow football in Jammu. Our core focus remains on grassroots and school football and we are firmly aligned with the AIFF Vision 2047. We are especially grateful to our academy partners, JP World School, for supporting our mission to develop football in the region.”
