JAMMU, May 27: The second day of the Inter-Departmental Tournament 2025–26 for Men, organized by University of Jammu, saw energetic participation and impressive performances at University’s Cricket and Volleyball Grounds.
The event is being organized under the leadership of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Chairman, Campus Sports Committee, and coordinated by Raj Kumar Bakshi, Incharge PTI.
In Volleyball (Men), Physical Education Department dominated by defeating the Law Department by 2–0 in the semi-final and went on to beat the SHTM Department by 2–0 in the final. The SHTM team had earlier edged out Geography Department in a close 2–1 semi final.
In Cricket (Men), the History Department triumphed over Urdu Department by 8 runs, while Sociology Department secured a 6-wicket win against ICCCR & HRM. Match officials Raj Kumar Bakshi and Vikas Karlopia ensured smooth conduct and fair play.
