SAMBA, June 20: Wrestler Paramjit Singh alias Pamma of Dera Baba Nanak, Punjab crushed wrestler Bagga of Amritsar and lifted the title trophy of the Annual Sidh Swankha Kesari Dangal at village Sidh Swankha in Ramgarh area.
The Annual Sidh Swankha Kesari Dangal was organised in the premises Bawa Sidh Goria Nath Temple during the week-long annual mela, which commenced yesterday.
During this annual dangal, around 200 bouts were contested between the wrestler, who had came not only from Jammu and Kashmir but also from Punjab, Haryana and Delhi.
Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga presented cash prize, Silver Gurj and Sidh Swankha Kesari Dangal Patta in presence of Mahant of the Sidh Goria Nath temple Mahant Peer Girdhari Nath.
Among others present were SDM Vijaypur Ravinder Sharma, SDPO Vijaypur Abhishek Sharma, Tehsildar Ramgarh Jai Kumar Sharma, BDO Ramgarh, SHO Inspector Ajit Singh and many others.
