One day workshop-cum-exhibition held

JAMMU, June 18: A workshop-cum-exhibition on teaching aids was organized by Dogra College of Education.
On the occasion, the BEd trainees of various practices of teaching groups gave presentations regarding their respective models on different topics related to various school subjects.
The programme started with the welcome address by Shefali Sharma, Principal, Dogra College of Education.
Prof BD Damral, Director, Dogra College of Education was the chief guest who inaugurated the exhibition.
Principals and faculty members from various schools of this area were also present on the occasion.
Poonam Gupta, Indu Puri, Senior Lecturers of the College and Bela Thakur, Academic Coordinator, Dogra College of Education acted as judges.
In the Teaching of Social Science, Aakash stood first, Bandhana Choudhary and Dimple claimed second and third positions respectively, whereas the consolation prize was bagged by Caffi.
In the Teaching of Science, Nisha bagged the first position, Vishaka stood second and Bindu Bala remained at third spot. The consolation prizes were bagged by Agar and Romani.
In the Teaching of English, Dimple Chinyal stood first, Bhawana clinched second while third rank was bagged by Pallavi.
In the Teaching of Hindi, Anu Sharma stood first, Lalita Devi second and Shama Sharma bagged the third position.
In the Teaching of Mathematics, Rajni got the first position, Shivali stood second while Neha bagged the third place. The consolation prizes were clinched by Nisha and Vishaka.
