PAHALGAM, Aug 11: As part of his routine training inspection of the Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah paid a visit to the Institute and polished his mountaineering skill by carrying out some activities, here today.
The Chief Minister also visited the training area at Pahalgam and observed the training being undertaken by the trainees there.
Omar carried out the training activities like climbing, rappelling, zip wiring and river rafting along with other members of his family. He was highly impressed by the skills and professionalism of the training staff of the Institute.
“It was an amazing morning. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the activities. The professional approach of the instructors at the Institute is worth appreciation,” said the Chief Minister.
