JAMMU, Jan 12: Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Culture Raman Bhalla today said that our children have enough talent adding that need to encourage them on national and international level competitions.
This was stated by the Minister while addressing a gathering of parents, prominent citizens and students at a concluding function of stars of Jammu organised by U4U Voice, a citizen journalism portal at Police Auditorium in Gandhi Nagar, here today.
Divisional Commissioner, Shantmanu, Director Tourism Soujanya Sharma, Jammu Municipal Commissioner Kiran Wattal and Managing Director U4U voice Arun Gupta, Managing Director Dhruv Institute Sudhir Anand and Surinder Kumar Sharma Owner Hari Travels were also present on the occasion.
On the concluding day of Stars of Jammu competition, about 27 tiny tots of city of temples participated and showcased their talent.
Mr Bhalla appreciated the concept of Stars of Jammu and said that Jammu had great talent and need was to nurture it in a proper manner. He said such type of events like Stars of Jammu not only providing children a platform for presenting their hidden talent but also educate them about their rich culture and heritage.
Later, the Minister also distributed mementos among the Ist, second and third winners of the event.
