JAMMU, Dec 5: NSM College of Education and SM Shishu Niketan Hr Secondary School, Anand Nagar, Bohri, celebrated its Annual Day in College Campus, here today.
State vice president BJP and MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) was the chief guest on the occasion. State general secretary BJP, Munish Sharma and Director Colleges Development Council Jai Kumar were the guests of honour.
The programme started with the presentation of bouquet by Parnessh Mahajan, secretary NSM Educational Society to the chief guest and the guests of honour and lighting of the lamp by the guests.
The administration and staff heartily welcomed the guests and a variety of items were presented which included Dogri Dance, Play on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Punjabi Bhangra and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma appreciated the efforts made by the students and the staff in making the programme a grand success.
He also appreciated the efforts made by the management in providing quality education in such a way that even a weak student can cope up in the prevailing system of quality education on which the management is focusing upon.
Munish Sharma appreciated the adoption of new techniques in the school curriculum like Smart Class, Language lab, etc.
The highlight of the programme was honouring the old Staff members for their work, honesty and dedication towards the institution.
Among others who attended the function were chairperson of Trust, Santosh Mahajan, Administrative Officer Mangal Dass, Liaison Officer Harvinder Singh Sihotra, BJP Mandal President Jeet Angral and Ashish Sareen.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks presented by Principal of SM Shishu Niketan Hr. Secondary School, Manikarnika Bhasin.
