NGR registers win in Football

JAMMU, Dec 2: NGR defeated Christian Star by two goals to one (2-1), while Shaheen FC held Param FC to goalless draw in the ongoing 1st Mufti Mohd Sayeed Memorial Gold Cup State League Football Tournament at GGM Science College Football ground, here today.
For NGR, Jeevan scored the goals in 12th and 55th minutes, while the lone goal for Christian Star was netted by Sahil in 62nd minute.
The matches were officiated by Rockey Sahrma, Sanjay Kumar, Dil Bahadur, Moon Stephen, Vijay Kumar, Dheeraj Meenia and Suresh Gupta.
