NCC outplays Gadigarh by 11 runs

JAMMU, Jan 23: NCC defeated Gadigarh Cricket Club by a narrow margin of 11 runs in the ongoing 2nd Anti Drug Cricket Tournament at Red Rose Stadium in Arnia, near here today.
Batting first, NCC scored a decent total of 155 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Jatin was the top scorer with 61 runs off 45 balls, studded with 8 fours and 2 sixes, while Jasmeet contributed 32 runs to the total. Sudesh and Pankaj claimed 2 wickets each for Gadigarh Club.
In reply, Gadigarh managed 144 runs in the stipulated overs, thus lost the match by a narrow margin of 11 runs. Manjeet and Pankaj scored 28 and 25 runs respectively. Deepak was the pick of the bowlers who scalped 5 important wickets while Venus claimed one.
