JAMMU, Feb 11: Nav Yug Higher Secondary School, Subhash Nagar, Jammu held Annual Sports Day, here today with enthusiasm and fervour. The event began with the National Anthem, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the start of the celebration.
The day saw a vibrant display of sports activities with students showcasing their energy and sportsmanship. Primary wing students participated in a range of exciting events, including Shot Put, Hurdle Race, Banana Race, Pick and Collect Race, Tug of War and the Musical Chair Game. Each event was filled with spirited performances, leaving the audience mesmerized by the students’ energy and determination.
Preetika Jamwal, Principal of the school, emphasized the significance of sports in a child’s development, encouraging students to maintain a healthy balance between academics and physical activities. The event concluded with the felicitation of winners and participants by Principal and C.K. Jamwal, Managing Director of the school, who applauded the efforts and achievements of the students.
