JAMMU, Oct 26: Nav Vidyalaya Dhalot won the title of Beti Bachao Girls’ Cricket Tournament by defeating MI School Sumb in the summit clash, today.
The team of Nav Vidyalaya Dhalote won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 69 runs in 10 overs. In reply, the team of MI School Sumb bundled out for 54 runs, thus the host team won the match by 15 runs.
The Tournament was organized by Sports Development Society Samba at Nav Vidyalaya Dhalot.
Jyoti Kundral of winner team scored 38 runs and was declared as woman of the match. Shabnam Rajput was declared as woman of series as she scored 82 runs and took 5 wickets and 4 catches.
MLA Samba, DK Manyal was the chief guest in the prize distribution function, who distributed the prizes among the best performers.
