National Level Kabaddi Tournament from Oct 9

JAMMU, Aug 30: National Level Kabaddi Tournament will be organized on the pattern of All India Pro-Kabaddi Tournament from October 9 at Kotli Shah Doula ground, RS Pura.
This was stated by MLA RS Pura Constituency Dr Gagan Bhagat today while talking to media persons.
Dr Bhagat added that RS Pura youths have tremendous potential and to capitalize and nurture this talent, he has taken the initiative with the participation of Shaheed Sports Club, RS Pura.
More than 25 teams from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Gujarat are expected to participate in the tournament, he added.
He stated that the winning team will receive a cash prize of Rs 50, 000 while the runners-up will get a cash prize of Rs 25,000 and third prize winner will get Rs 11,000.
There is no entry fee, he said, adding that in the preliminary round, the matches will be organized among the villages of RS Pura and surrounding places so that a strong team will represent RS Pura in this tournament.
Among others present were Natharam, Vinod Sharma, Noubat Ram, Kundan Sharma, Vikram Singh Labba, Sushil Sharma, Raju, Abhishek Gupta, Inder Sudan and Hardev Singh.
