Myrah, Srishti to clash for U-15 Girls title, Saiyam to face Samar in Boys Final

JAMMU, Aug 25: Thrilling action continued on the third day of the Jammu & Kashmir Table Tennis Championship 2025, with young talents putting up electrifying performances across age categories. Organised by the Jammu & Kashmir Table Tennis Association in collaboration with UTT and J&K Sports Council under the “My Youth My Pride” initiative, the event drew an enthusiastic crowd as players showcased grit, speed, and tactical excellence.
In the Under-15 Girls’ category, Myrah stormed into the finals with a dominant 3-0 win over Alena, while Srishti edged past Syrah in a thrilling 3-2 semi-final encounter. The final promises to be a high-octane clash between two of the most promising young paddlers in the region.
In the Under-15 Boys’ semifinals, Saiyam defeated Ahaan by 3-2 in a nail-biting contest and Samar overcame Adnan by 3-1 to set up a mouth-watering final.
Meanwhile, in the Under-17 Boys’ Quarterfinals, Saiyam beat Samar by 3-0, Samarth defeated Advik by 3-0, Pranit won over Satyam by 3-0 and Ahaan registered a straight-set victory against Arnav.
Senior categories also saw intense competition, with players like Akhilesh, Maanay, Akash, Amit and Sourav advancing to the men’s singles quarterfinals, while Myrah Dewan and Arushika secured their place in the women’s singles title round.
