They pushed the score to 30 for one off the first four overs But Raina fell to bat-pad catch off left armer Mitchell Johnson. His 10 off seven balls he faced was inadequate and turned the heat on the Super Kings who were 30-2 off 4.3 overs,  who now needd 119 runs off 15.2 overs remaining.
The Super Kings suffered a set back 12 runs later when  Mike Hussey, the left hander played across attempting to  sweep, offie Harbhajan Sngh. His innings of 20 off 23 balls  had three hits to the fence. Eight overs gone, the Super kings were 4 for 3.105 runs behind their victory target  of 149.
