MOSAJ accredited as Khelo India Talent Development Centre

JAMMU, Aug 27: Mission Olympics Shooting Academy Jammu (MOSAJ) has been accredited as a Khelo India Talent Development Centre by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYAS), marking a major milestone for sports in the region. Recognized as a Non-Residential Centre for both boys and girls, MOSAJ is now among the premier institutions in J&K nurturing young shooting talent.
Founder Patron of JKRA and Ex-DGP J&K, Dilbag Singh and President JKRA SS Sodhi congratulated the academy, lauding coaches Vishal Mehra and Aman Singh for their dedication. The initiative aligns with the vision of PM Narendra Modi to position India as a global sports leader.
Benefits of this accreditation include upgraded infrastructure, expert coaching and greater exposure for athletes like Aneesha, an international shooter from J&K. A celebratory tea gathering was hosted by President SS Sodhi, attended by Chairman JKRA Kuldeep Jamwal, DySP Sharat Chander Singh (General Secretary/CEO JKRA), Treasurer Arun Mansotra, Rajesh Virdhi and other dignitaries.
Team MOSAJ expressed gratitude to MYAS, J&K Sports Council, and all supporters, pledging to continue building a strong sporting culture and future Olympic champions from the Union Territory.
