JAMMU, Oct 14: Modern Montessori International (MMI) Jammu Branch organized a cultural function here today, in which children participated and exhibited their talent.
The function started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the Directors Bhawna Rohmetra and Sapna Rohmetra in presence of staff members, students and their parents.
Principal of the school Pragya Gupta presented the welcome address and also highlighted the achievements of the institution in curricular and co-curricular activities.
She also expressed gratitude to parents for their support, motivation and positive vibrations to make the MMI institution’s activities a grand success.
Ruvika from Pre-Nursery expressed her views about the school. “I feel proud to be the part of prestigious MMI School”, she added.
Various activities were organized on the occasion, in which students participated with enthusiasm and exhibited their skills.
Children of Pre-Nursery performed on Bum-Bum Bhole song, followed by a rhyme “Deep Jalao Deep Jalao” by Rehansi from Pre-Nursery. The performances by the little Montessorians, were highly appreciated by the audience with thundering applauses.
The volunteer parents also took part in some of the activities organized by the institution. They expressed their firm belief that the co-curricular activities being organized by MMI will help their wards to nurture their talent.
Bhawna Rohmetra and Sapna Rohmetra also expressed their views and hailed the performances of the students.
“Sports plays pivotal role for the overall development of the body. Every student should participate in the sports activities to keep their body mentally and physically fit”, they said.
“Our institution will regularly organize co-curricular activities to keep the students mentally and physically fit”, they informed.
They presented mementoes to the volunteer parents and also awarded the winners of various sports activities.
In the end, Principal, MMI, Jammu Branch, Pragya Gupta presented vote of thanks.
