JAMMU, Feb 2: Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy scored 130 runs against Green Field Academy in their first innings of the 2-day match of the ongoing Kuldip Sharma Memorial Cricket Tournament, being organised by Country Cricket Academy, under the overall supervision of Director of the Academy and former Ranji Trophy player, Vivek Sharma at the Academy ground, Gharota, near here.
Green Field XI in return were106/6 at the draw of stumps on day-1 today.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, MGCA scored 130 runs in 53 overs. Vinod top scored with 36 runs, while Nitish and Sarthak contributed 18 and 13 runs to the total respectively. Sampark also chipped in with unbeaten 17 runs. For Green Field Academy, Vishal was the wrecker-in-chief, who took 6 important wickets in his 23 overs by conceding 35 runs, with 5 maidens, while Sant Baksh and Samad claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Green Field Academy scored 106 runs by losing 6 wickets in 33 overs. Tayyab top scored with 28 runs, while Rahul, Sant Baksh and Areeb contributed 18, 11 and 13 runs respectively. For MGCA, Ajay and Ankush Gill bagged 3 wickets each.
