MGCA drubs Canal CC by 11 runs

JAMMU, Sept 10: Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy (MGCA) defeated Canal Cricket Club by 11 runs in the ongoing 3rd Simula Budding Cricketers Tournament, being organized by Young Star Cricket Club, Jammu at MGCA Grounds, here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, MGCA scored 101 runs by losing 6 wickets in the stipulated 15 overs. Sahil Lotra (23), Surya (22), Sahil Mahotra (19) and Tushar (15) were the main contributors. Nadeem was the pick of the bowlers for Canal CC, who took 3 important wickets, while Surya and Prashant claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Canal CC could manage to score 90 runs in the allotted overs by losing 6 wickets, thus lost the match by 11 runs. Ateev Saini to scored with 50 runs off 32 balls, studded with 5 fours and one six, while Nikhil contributed 12-ball 12 runs to the total. For MGCA, Sahil Lotra scalped 3 wickets, while Shubam Pundhir and Sahil Mahotra claimed one wicket each.
