REASI, Jan 12: Malik Cricket Club (MCC) defeated Tikri Cricket Club by 7 wickets in the ongoing Sadbhavana T20 Cup Cricket Tournament, being organized by Reasi Cricket Club at Sports Stadium, here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Tikri Club scored a modest total of 105 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Nirbhay top scored with 44 runs, while extra contributed 22 runs to the total. For Malik CC, Raman Dutta took 3 wickets, while Pardeep Bali and Amandeep Singh claimed 2 and one wicket respectively.
In reply, Malik Club rode a superb knock of 44 runs by Parveen Singh and valuable contribution of 23 runs by Shashi Kumar chased the target easily by losing 3 wickewts to win the match by 7 wickets. For Tikri Club, Ajay took 2 wickets and Anshuman claimed one. Parveen Singh was declared man of the match.
The match was officiated by Shubam Sharma and Pankaj Sharma as umpires.
Ramneek Verma and Pankaj Dogra, Reliance Communication Mangers were the special guest during valedictory function to present man of the match award.
