JAMMU, Aug 11: Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology, today organized an Orientation-cum-Induction Programme in the College Auditorium for the batch of 2014-2015 admitted in the College in various engineering branches.
College Chairman S Rangil Singh was the chief guest on the occasion.
Earlier, Prof (Dr) S K Badyal, Principal of the College presented welcome address and highlighted the achievements made by the College in the past and called upon the freshers to be more disciplined, punctual and focused in their studies.
Prof Amrik Singh gave the presentation regarding background of the Institution, infrastructure and other facilities provided by the College Management.
Prof Parveen Singh gave presentation about the academic activities, Calendar for examinations and other advisories for the students.
The students were also addressed by Prof A S Sudan who advised them to inculcate the culture of dignity of labour.
S Rangil Singh in his presidential address exhorted students to achieve the excellence in their career with sincerity and dedication.
The programme was compeered by Prof Mansi Gupta.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were S Lakhbir Singh Bawa, Advisor, Heads of the Departments, H S Gill, Administrative Officer, members of faculty and parents.
Formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof Mansi Gupta.
