JAMMU, Jan 8: Junior Wing of May Fair International School, Chinore here today celebrated its annual day under the theme ‘Ek Rishta-Bond of Love’.
The celebration reflected 45 years of dedicated growth of May Fair Schools in education, culture and overall development of the students.
The event was graced by Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Raina, Joint Director (HQ), Information J&K as chief guest and Gurdev Kumar, Joint Director School Education Jammu as guest of honour.
Dignitaries present on the occasion were Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, working president, Dogra Sadar Sabha, Jammu, Munish Gupta, Chief Editor, Early Times, Keshav Chopra Social Activist & Chairman Samvedna Society, Kuldeep Gupta and Ashwani Pandita, Deputy Secretaries JKBOSE, Harvinder Kour, ZEPO, Youth Services & Sports, Nishant Gupta, SHO, Nowabad and Ram Murty Sharma, president AIPA, Jammu.
Sanjeet Kumar, Ex Chairman BDC, Jaganoo, Udhampur & Gurtaj Singh – Principal, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Public H/S School, Jammu were special guests.
The programme commenced with welcome address by Abhey Basur, Director – May Fair Schools followed by a welcome song.
A colourful dance performance by kindergarten students lit up the stage.
School Incharge Dr. Neha Gupta presented the annual report.
The programme concluded with a high-spirited Qawali. Anita Basur, secretary, May Fair Schools and Sandeep Sharma, chief advisor were present as Management Committee members.
LAKSHYA 2026, 12th Edition of School Magazine was also released on this occasion.
A special prize distribution ceremony was also held to honour meritorious and outstanding students.
In his address, the chief guest praised the School for its commitment to holistic education.
The event concluded with formal vote of thanks by Radhika Basur, Trustee – May Fair Schools.
