UDHAMPUR, Apr 3: Udhampur Police organised the Martyr PSI Deepak Sharma Memorial Sports Tournament under the Civic Action Programme, which concluded at DPL Udhampur. The closing ceremony was attended by Sarah Rizvi, along with SSP Udhampur and family members of Martyr PSI Deepak Sharma, who formally declared the tournament closed. Senior officers, including Addl SP, DySP Headquarters, DySP DAR, SDPO Ramnagar, SDPO Chenani, DySP PC Udhampur, DySP PC Latti, ADO DPO, Sr PO and SHOs of Udhampur, Chenani and Rehambal, were also present.
Around 310 participants from across the district competed in badminton, cricket, volleyball, kho-kho and tug of war under the supervision of 16 officials. In the volleyball final, City Volleyball Club defeated Udhampur Volleyball Club. Trophies and certificates were distributed among winners.
