JAMMU, Nov 7: Martand Singh, Director of the Amar Singh Sports & Youth Initiative, J&K, called on Rohan Jaitley, Chairman of the BCCI Committee on Infrastructure and President of the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA), in New Delhi today.
The discussion focused on developing cricket and other sports infrastructure in Jammu & Kashmir and enhancing opportunities for young talent. Singh highlighted the region’s vast sporting potential and thanked Jaitley for his recent visit to J&K, recalling the contributions of the late Arun Jaitley to Indian cricket.
Rohan Jaitley underscored the need for structured talent identification and sustained support for athletes. Singh also briefed him on the vision of the Amar Singh Sports & Youth Initiative aimed at nurturing youth sports. The meeting builds on Jaitley and BCCI President Mithun Manhas’ recent Srinagar visit to advance cricket infrastructure in the Union Territory.
