POONCH, June 19: Shaheed DySP Manjit Singh Memorial Volleyball Club Poonch will clash with Poonch Volleyball Club in the final of the District Poonch Open Volleyball Tournament, underway at Government Degree College grounds. The tournament is being held under the aegis of the District Volleyball Association.
In the semifinals played today, Shaheed Manjit Club defeated Loran Spartan in straight sets (25-18, 25-21, 25-17), while Poonch Club overcame Bacheiawali Volleyball Club by 3-1 (25-19, 25-21, 18-25, 25-23).
Players like Majid, Hafiz, Kafeel, Harshit and Aabid showcased excellent skills in the semifinal matches. The matches were officiated by technical officials Zahid Hussain, Shabir Ahmad and Ayaz.
