JAMMU, Dec 10: MAM College showcased outstanding dominance to lift the Inter-collegiate Hockey Championship title organised by the Cluster University of Jammu at KK Hakku Hockey Stadium. The team displayed remarkable skill, coordination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. In the opening match, MAM College defeated SPMR College of Commerce with an emphatic by 9-0 victory. Maintaining their momentum in the finals, they outclassed GGM Science College by 10-1 to seal the championship. Avneet Singh, who led from the front with exceptional performance and goal-scoring prowess, was declared best player of the tournament.
The event was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Neeno Sahawney, Prof. Neelam, Prof. Rohit Bhardwaj and Dr. Devinder Sharma, under the guidance of Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director Physical Education, who also graced the final as chief guest. Vice Chancellor Prof. K. S. Chandrasekar congratulated the winning team, praising their discipline, teamwork and growing sporting excellence.
