Lions Cricket Club wins KPL Veteran Cup

JAMMU, Nov 9: Lions Cricket Club (LCC) emerged victorious in the KPL Veteran Cup 25, defeating Surinder Cricket Club in an exciting final at KC Sports Club, here today. Batting first, LCC posted 151/9 in 20 overs, with Sunil Kumar scoring a quick 33, supported by Vinod Koul (27) and Kuldeep Bhat (24). Provin Bhat starred with the ball, taking 3 wickets, while Vikas Pandita claimed 2.
In response, Surinder Cricket Club managed 136/6, with Provin Bhat top-scoring at 48. Assem Bhat and Sunil Kumar took key wickets for LCC, sealing a 15-run win. Sunil Kumar was named Man of the Match. Nitu won Best Batsman and Valuable Player, Ravi Bindroo Best Bowler, and Saksham Koul Emerging Player. The tournament was organized by Sanjeev Kant Sharma, Anil Ambardar and Sanjay Koul in memory of late Anil Koul.
