SRINAGAR, Oct 25: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha met the outstanding sportspersons of Delhi Public School Srinagar at Raj Bhawan, here today appreciating their achievements in national and international competitions.
The delegation included Hurriyah Showkat, Samma, Mysha Bilal Kanth (silver medalists at the 3rd Junior Asian Pencak Silat Championship), Zaid Ali (69th National School Games – Football) and the winning team of the Inter-DPS Football Tournament, Boys Open, Zone 1.
They were accompanied by Monisa Khursheed, Vice-Principal and Mudasir Bashir, Sports Secretary of DPS Srinagar. The LG congratulated the students for their dedication and hard work, wishing them success in upcoming competitions, and encouraged them to continue excelling in sports, bringing pride to their school and the Union Territory.
