Langeh’s 4 wkts haul guides SCC to register win over UCC

JAMMU, June 25: Sham Singh Langeh’s 4 wickets haul guided Singh Cricket Club (SCC) to register 22 runs win over United Cricket Club (UCC) and enter into next stage of the ongoing Chevrolet Cricket Cup, being played at KC Public School cricket ground.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, SCC made 110 runs in 15.5 overs Dilabar Singh and Deepak scored 35 and 27 runs respectively.
From UCC side, Vinod took 3 wickets, whereas Mithun, Sanju and Rajesh scalped 2 wickets each.
In reply, UCC failed to chase the target and were bundled out at 88 runs in 19 overs. Sumit Dhar scored 27 runs.
From SCC side, Sham Singh Langeh was the pick of the bowler with 4 wickets and Sunny took 2 wickets.
Sham Singh Langeh of SCC was declared as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Rajinder Singh and Bunty Chib as umpires, whereas Honey Chib maintained the scorecard.
