KV Master defeats Jammu Veterans

JAMMU, Nov 20: KV Masters defeated Jammu Veterans in a nail biting match, organised under the guidance of KV2 (Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2) Principal, Bhushan Kumar, at KV2 School Ground, here today.
A brilliant display of batting by KV Masters led Samendar Rathore who made 63 during the match and helped KV Master to defeat Jammu Veterans by 3 wickets on the last ball.
Jammu veterans led by Mukesh Sharma won the toss and opted to bat first. Vikram Singh made 29 runs, Vasu scored 24 runs and Rahul contributed 20 runs, which helped Jammu Veterans to post a challenging total of 143 by losing 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. From KV Masters Manjeet, Ashok Kumar, Rinku, Briz and Usman took 1 wicket each.
In reply, KV Masters started well but kept losing wickets on regular intervals. With 90 runs required from the last 10 overs to win, KV Masters chased the target on the last ball with a brilliant 63 runs by Samendar Rathore.
Sikander Oberoi made19 runs and Usman contributed 14 runs. From the bowling side, Mukesh Sharma and Rahul took 2 wickets each and Jagdev Singh bagged 1 wicket for Jammu Veterans.
