JAMMU, Apr 12: To strengthen its functioning in the Union Territory, Kreeda Bharti Jammu and Kashmir today constituted its Jammu District unit by nominating a 16-member team.
The newly formed team was announced by Secretary Kreeda Bharti, Ashutosh Sharma, in the presence of President Shiv Kumar Sharma; Senior Vice President R C Vaid; Vice President Sunil Mahajan; and Treasurer Rahul Sharma at Kargil Bhawan here.
The team is led by Umesh Sharma as President and includes Sonia Jain (Vice President), Dushyant Sharma (Secretary) and Girish Parihar (Treasurer). Rakesh Dogra and Vaneet Pangotra have been appointed as Joint Secretaries.
Other members nominated to the Jammu District unit include Ambika Sharma (Matr Shakti Pramukh), Brij Bhushan (Yoga Pramukh), Roshi Sharma (Yuva Pramukh), Rahul Manotra (Kreeda Kendra Pramukh), Durgesh Bargotra, Sanjay Manhas, Rohit Vadan, Gourav Sharma, Anil Dogra and Sunny Dogra (all Executive Members).
Speaking to the new team, Shiv Kumar Sharma congratulated the President and his team, saying, “Jammu district is one of the most important units of J&K, so the new team is expected to set an example for others to follow through their exemplary work and contributions to their assigned duties.”
Earlier, Palak of the Jammu District, Sunil Mahajan, introduced each member of the team. Later, the elected members were felicitated by President Kreeda Bharti, Shiv Kumar Sharma.
