KPL: Ompora drubs Rangreth Rangers in summit clash

SRINAGAR, May 25: Ompora XI drubbed Rangreth Rangers in the summit clash to lift the title of Kashmir Premier League (KPL) Phase-1 of district Budgam, near here today.
After almost a month long arduous schedule of KPL phase was conducted by 35 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of 12 Sector Rashtriya Rifles, 114 teams from all over Budgam district participated to secure a position in KPL Phase-II which culminated with a nail biting final today.
Khurshid Ahmad Shah, District Development Commissioner, Budgam, was chief guest on the valedictory function, while Uttam Chand, SSP Budgam and Shah Faesal were also present on the occasion. The chief guest lauded the efforts of the organizers for holding this mega event. He distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams.
