Koul, Gupta inaugurate Dr Hedgewar T20 Jr Kabaddi School Rolling Trophy

JAMMU, May 28: Dr Hedgewar T20 Junior Kabaddi School Rolling Trophy-2018  was inaugurated by Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organisation) BJP J&K and Rajesh Gupta, Member of Legislative Assembly Jammu East and Anil Gupta, President J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association in an impressive function at Kabaddi Field, MA Stadium , here.
He inaugurated the Championship in the presence of Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer of J&K Sports Council, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of Association, Surinder Mohan, General Secretary of the Association, Sangram Singh, Treasurer and Karunesh Gupta, Organising Secretary.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Koul appreciated the drive by J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association for promoting Swedeshi Khel Kabaddi and also motivated the youth for promoting Kabaddi. He also appreciated the President of Kabaddi Association, Anil Gupta and CEO of the Association, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta for organizing the National Kabaddi Tournament in the name of Dr. Hedgewar on the completion of 100 years of the RSS.
On the occasion, Rajesh Gupta MLA Jammu East also announced a water cooler for Kabaddi Field MA Stadium, Jammu from his CDF and also appreciated the Jammu District Kabaddi Association for promoting Kabaddi in Jammu.
Earlier, Anil Gupta presented welcome address and highlighted the achievements of the Association.
I is pertinent to mention here, that Rajesh Gupta has already announced Rs. 10 lakh from his CDF for the construction of pavilion shed and installation of chairs and flood lights in Kabaddi Field MA Stadium, Jammu.
In boys section matches played today, Play Way beat Raj Kamal Hr Secondary School by 19 points, KV No-1 Gandhi Nagar drubbed Oriental Academy by 19 points, Gandhi Memorial outplayed Jammu Sanskriti School by 18 points, New National High School trounced Govt. High School Phallian Mandal by 13 points, Govt Hr Secondary School Khour defeated Govt High School Pull Tawi by 20 points, New Era Hr Secondary School outclassed Public High School Pull Mishriwala by 12 points, while in the matches of girls section, KV-1 Gandhi Nagar beat Model Public School by 27 points, St Francis Hr Secondary School Akhnoor trounced Raj Kamal Hr Secondary  School by 17 points and Model Public School outclassed DBN Mubarak Mandi by 16 points.
