KIYG: Volleyball trials on April 18, 19 in Jammu

JAMMU, Apr 16: Ahead of the 7th edition of the Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG) 2025, scheduled to be held in Bihar from May 4 to 15, the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council will conduct selection trials for the J&K Volleyball team on April 18 and 19 at MA Stadium, Jammu.
A committee has been constituted by the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council to oversee the trials and the subsequent coaching camp. The panel includes the Chief Sports Officer, Divisional Sports Officer Jammu Mohammad Tariq, Prateekh (Joint Secretary, Volleyball Association of J&K and Volleyball Coach, SAI Centre Jammu), Naresh Kumar (Volleyball Coach), and Mulk Raj (Volleyball Coach).
The trials will begin at 11 AM on both days. This initiative aims to select and prepare a competitive team to represent Jammu and Kashmir at the national-level youth sports event, which showcases top young talent from across the country.
