Kings Kabaddi team lifts title trophy

JAMMU, Jan 20: The final match of the Kabaddi Tournament was played in Chhani Tana area of Pargwal in Chhamb Assembly constituency.
In the final match, Kings Kabaddi team defeated Government Degree College Akhnoor and lifted the title trophy.
On the occasion, Congress leader Bharat Priye was the chief guest who distributed prizes among the winner and runner-up teams.
While speaking, Congress leader said that the girl living in border areas are rich in talent.
He added that it is a matter of great pleasure that the tournament was organized to encourage girls living in border areas in sports.
Giving the example of Olympic medalists Mirabai Chanu, Lovlina and other women players, Bharat Priye said that these players also started their career from village or small level and today they are pride of India.
He assured to organize more such tournaments in the near future to encourage the girls towards sports.
Among others present were Ramesh Verma, Satpal Sharma, Chunni Lal Sharma, Sham Chaudhary, Banarsi Lal, etc.
