JAMMU, Jan 7: Kids Dream Public School Akhnoor celebrated Annual Day and award function with pomp and show today.
Former Minister Sham Lal Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion, while Gopal Singh SDM Akhnoor and Ajay Sharma SDPO Akhnoor were the guests of honour.
Little kids presented a colourful cultural programme which enthralled the audience.
Awards were given to the meritorious students by the chief guest and the honoured guests for academic and curriculum activities.
DN Abrol, Principal asked the parents not to pressurise the little kids for studies, rather focus on their development first.
In his speech chief guest asked the parents to involve their wards in physical education and sports.
On the occasion, the chief guest also advocated for women empowerment and threw light on the slogan ‘beti bachao, beti padao, beti khilao’. (PTI)
