Khyber Cement extends support to J&K Rowing team

SRINAGAR, Apr 20: Khyber Cement has extended its support to a 35-member rowing team from Jammu and Kashmir set to participate in the Federation Cup (Men, Women & Mixed) at Bhalswa Boat Club, New Delhi, from April 21 to 24.
The flag-off ceremony was held at Zabarwan Park in the presence of MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq, who lauded the athletes’ determination. Wasim Ahmed Khan, Chief of Sales & Customer Relations, represented Khyber Cement at the event.
“This is more than sponsorship; it’s about building ambition and pride. Kashmir deserves a global stage,” said Umar Tramboo, Director, Corporate & Strategy, Khyber Cement. The Federation Cup also serves as a qualifier for the 17th World Rowing Championship to be held in Germany from July 16 to 20, 2025.
